Question: Long lasting dizzy spells!?
Yesterday I had a pretty intense dizzy spell that lasted 6 hours!. Yes I had breakfast, lunch, and dinner!. I haven't been that dizzy in two years!. It was also a stressful day, so I don't know if that played a part!. Now today, I'm not feeling right either!. I'm not exactly dizzy but I'm not normal either!. And I feel real panicky!. I've never had a problem with blood sugar levels either!. I'm 23 female!. Any advice on why this is happening or how to make it stop!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

I've had something similar before!. There are a few things that can cause it that I personally have experienced!.

One is a virus!. Another is stress/anxiety!. Both of my times I was also a bit nauseous!. I have heard that inner ear problems that link our balance like infections can cause this too!. Lastly, pregnancy!.!.!.but I haven't personally experienced that one :P

Ok, this is not intended to scare you in any way but you really should get yourself checked out, you should not be having dizzy spells that last that long!. It could be that you have a something like a simple ear infection, or it could be something more serious!. I have something called Menieres Syndrome, and when I have an "episode" the dizziness can last for up to 24 hours, it also makes me nauseous!.!.!.the only way to fully describe it is that it feels like being drunk without the benefit of the drink first!.!.!.(not that I get drunk as a rule!) Another symptom is ringing in the ears which is incredibly annoying!. After one of these episodes I generally feel totally washed out and very lethargic!.!.!.!.it could be described as "brain fog" This syndrome has led to me being deaf in one ear and partly deaf in the other!.

Just to add that these episodes started when I was around 7 years old and I am now into my 50's and thankfully I am in remission, though I do tend to get wobbly now and then!.

The chances of this being what you have experienced are slim but I really would recommend that you get the opinion of a doctor!.

I know this is probably gonna sound crazy but you may have mold in your home!. if you use window air conditioners they are more likely to have mold!. if they become airborn your breathing it and dont know it!. check black mold on the internet and see the symptoms and see if it fits yours!.
