Question: Is it still injured!? anyone help!?
last year in november i fell down the stairs and landed on my right wrist, went to hospital and took xray but couldnt tell, so they put me in a temporary cast for 2 weeks, wen i went back they said i should have a proper cast on for 6 weeks, but coz i was going in army i said it was fine, since then i havent been able to use my hand properly it still hurts and i find lifting things makes it worse :( can it still be fractured/ or broke !?!?!?!? helpWww@Answer-Health@Com

Answers:
It's very possible that it may have not healed like it was supposed to !.
You need to go and have more x-rays done to see if this is what is going on !. They can also set you up with some therapy !.
You should try and have this done as soon as possible !. If not you will continue to have the pain and eventually arthritis may set in !.
I feel your pain though !. I fell over a year ago and broke my left wrist !.
I took my cast off earlier than what I was supposed to and stopped going to therapy and I am really paying for it now !.
Don't be like I am , too stubborn to do what you know you need to do !.
Best of luck !.Www@Answer-Health@Com

When you said "going into the Army," can I assume you meant you were going to Basic Training!? If so, you should have definitely gotten the proper cast, waited, and then came in for Basic Training!. BT is incredibly stressful on the body and I know you've more than likely re-injured it by now!.

Go to your first in command and tell them you need to go to sick call!. But by all means, withhold the information that you did it prior to coming in!. If you ever need to get discharged because of your wrist, you don't want the Army to know they didn't cause the injury, because they'll pay you for it!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Only a professional can diagnose you properly and tell you if it is still broken or not!. You should seek medical attention as soon as possible!. The only answer I could give you is that it is possible that it is not fracture anymore, but it might not grow properly since there is no cast to guide its healing or re-formation so that could jack up your arm!. You are saying it still hurts, maybe the new bone growing can't support the weight you are lifting so I suggest you go to the doctor quick! Good luck!Www@Answer-Health@Com

Yes, it can still be fractured/broke!. If you don't get the proper medical attention it can never heal right and then you'll have problems with it for the rest of your life!.
I would go see a doctor immediately before there's nothing you can do to help it!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

I hurt my wrist in a car accident 4 yrs ago and it will still hurt from time to time!. My problem was a injured tendon and ligament which could be your case as well!. Keep it wrapped and don't put a lot of pressure on it when possible!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Possibly, you could have also damaged some of the tendons in the wrist!.!.!.I did that and had to give it time to heal!. Definitely go talk to your doctor to see what the best course of action would beWww@Answer-Health@Com

If you are in the army you should have access to free medical care!. Why aren't you going to the doctor!?

Your wrist could have some serious damage!. I wouldn't wait a day!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

It might still be healing go easy on it and call doc!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

it could very well be that it is - I would strongly recommend you see a doctor right awayWww@Answer-Health@Com
