When is blood pressure considered too low?!


Question: When is blood pressure considered too low!?
I'm on atelenol for POTS and lately my pressure has been dropping to where my top number is in either the high 70s or low 80s!. Im on it to regulate my pulse but I start getting dizzy when its that low and all my dr tells me to do is not check my pressure and lay down, eat salt, and drink water!. But when my pressure is that low I dont feel good enough to eat anythingWww@Answer-Health@Com

Atenolol is not usually used specifcally for pulse, but I understand, if you are having episodes of dizziness than you need to see a physician!. A systolic blood pressure of 70 or 80 is too low to be on this medication!. If you are not being followed by a cardiologist, you need to be!. There are many other medications that can be used!. A BP below 90/60 is generally regarded as too low and could be low BP!. Common symptoms include faintness and actual fainting spells and also dizziness!. Your systolic pressure is too low!.
