Question: Need the best back brace to correct bad posture!! help!!?
I have slouched since I was in high school and now I am 30!. It only has gotten worse and most of the time, I have no idea I am even doing it until I see myself in pictures!. It is very embarassing and I have a curve now and it is also very hard to stand up straight for long because my back starts getting tired!. So, I just slouch again!. I have gone to Dr!.s that tell me to exercise so I do for a while and then stop!. I am really bad about that!. What I want is a brace that would support my whole back and MAKE me stand up straight until I finally would get used to it and cure the problem!. Is there such a thing!? And where do I get it!? I am desperate because I am soooo tired of looking like this!. My back is hurting too so that does not help matters!. PLEASE HELP! I do not want to have this forever!Www@Answer-Health@Com

If you wouldn't be an adult already, I would think you might have scoliosis of your spine and it could be better corrected if you were still growing!. But since you're an adult, exercise would probably be the best thing to strengthen your back muscles and practice correct posture constantly until you retrain yourself!. Have they tested you for Osteoporosis!? You may have the beginning of that and if so, you should be on a calcium and Vit!.D supplement!. You must have Vitamin D so the body can absorb the calcium correctly!.
There are braces that you can purchase at medical supply places!. Some drug stores offer medical supplies also!. I went to school that wore a body brace from his waist up to his neck, but he had scoliosis and it straightened it while he was still growing!. It was extremely uncomfortable and he complained all the time that is was also hot!. So, I would recommend the supplements and exercise for your age group!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
