Question: Why can't you use wax strips on vericose veins!?
I'm reading directions on my new wax strips!.!. i have mild vericose veins on the back of my legs but how dangerous would it be to use the wax strips on them!?!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

Varicose veins are 'very close' (no pun intended) to the skin!. Waxing pulls out the hair from the bulb!. In some cases, the hair bulb and the varicose veins may be very near to each other, thus putting you at risk for bleeding and infection should you disturb the vein!. Also HOT wax may cause the vein to further dilate!. It is already weak, so best not to disturb it!.
It could also be a problem, if for some reason, you were to pull off the skin with the wax!. You may expose the vein!.
The warning is good advice, but you have to use your best judgment for your particular situation!.
They also put warning on blow dryers to not use them while in the bath tub, so there you have it!.
If it were me, I'd look closely at my legs!.!.!.!.if I thought the vein was too close to the skin, I'd probably avoid wax in that area and pluck, use an electric shaver, or chemical depilatory!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
