Been feeling soooo tired?!

Question: Been feeling soooo tired!?
I've always been able to cope with short nights and long working hours!. Maybe age is catching up w me (im only 28)!. I work 9-5 in an office and I also do weekend evening in a restaurant!. I go to the gym 5 days a week and I'm studying at home for a open university course!. I look after my diet and I have over 3500 kcal a day!.
To make matters worse, I have a new girlfriend and I always end up going to bed a bit later than usual :P!.

Apart from drinking gallons of coffee, what else can I do to improve my energy levels!?

Thanks!Www@Answer-Health@Com

i would get some blood test run, at your age you shouldnt be getting so tired easily!. there could be a very simple medical explanation for this like amenia, or it could be your doing to much and are a little run down, but i would have some tests run just incase there is an underlying cause to your tiredness!.

try if you can to cut out some of this coffee as it really is not helping mattersWww@Answer-Health@Com

Yes you are getting old and it's all catching up with you!. You're doing too much and you need more sleep!.

Stop doing the restaurant work (if you can) so you can catch up on some zzz's at the weekend!. You could also miss out a gym session or two if you're 'going to bed later than usual' ;)

Manage your time more effectively and dedicate a good amount of time for rest and sleep!. You're still young, and you should not wear yourself out!. Drinking coffee or energy drinks and popping pills will not fix the underlying problems!. Www@Answer-Health@Com

less coffee, i stopped drinking soft drinks and less coffee and i felt much better, also get tested for diabetes, i did, and know i feel more human and able to cope with lifeWww@Answer-Health@Com

Cut the gymn to three times a week and maybe the restaurant work, unless you really enjoy it that is!. Sounds to me like you're trying to do too much!. And cut the coffee, it's bad for you!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Coffee is not the answer!. It's addictive and therefore you need more and more!. More water may help!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Red bull or lucozade=]Www@Answer-Health@Com

take a daily multi-vitamin, cut out junk food and take napsWww@Answer-Health@Com

it's understandable considering your calendar is as loaded as a college kid's sched!. maybe it has something to do with your food intake!. too much carbs (rice, pasta) can get you drowsy while too much protein (esp!. red meat) takes your digestive system more time to process!. try going vegetarian for a while and see what happens!.

you could also try a lunchbreak nap or a siesta (15-30mins!.)!. if you can't sleep mid-day, you can just sit down with your palms resting on your lap (palmside up), close your eyes, go deep breathing and clear your head of the day's concerns!. even 10 mins!. of that will clear your head & recharge you a bit!.

hope this helps!. good luck

* btw stop your coffee dependence, substitute it with an apple!. it's healthier and helps in keeping alert!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
