Does anyone have any idea about pulses!? Why is it that we often use the radial pulse, you know, on the wrist, instead of using any other!? Why is it so convenient!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

When I was directed to check my pulse by an emergency call operator once, she actually instructed me to find my carotid pulse (neck pulse), which was an interesting change from using the radial pulse!. I think it's just easier to locate on the wrist is all ^_^Www@Answer-Health@Com
Because it's the easiest one to locate, but the pulse on your neck is most reliable because it's the closest to your heart!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Hmm!. Good question!. I don't think it's any BETTER than the jugular pulse, I think it's just easier to find than the jugular pulse!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
