Question: Query about hospital appointments during working hours!?
Are there any legal laws regarding this quite common situ!?
the person in question has returned after an accident but still needs to attend for checkups!. Do they get paid!? Do they go down on the roster as "sick" or hosp appointment!? Any info on this subject greatly appreciated!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

im not so sure there is a law for this yet, i run my own company and would pay them even if they went to the hospital for check ups still!. you could however be forced into having it has holiday paid or unpaid or as sick leave!. it all depends mainly on the manager/boss and how they want to play it!. was the accident at work!? then it should really be paid!. whoever it is needs to site down with the person in charge and find out exactly where they stand!.
if they are not happy with the end result i would give citizen advise a call as they will know where you really stand legally!. or if they are with the union call them in, that's what there are there for!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
