Answers:
No, they use alcohol to sterilise the area!. Its probably not painful because the doctor is good at it (some are terrible and it really hurts!)!.

Ear piercing doesn't hurt because it is fast!. But your ear lobes will feel very "hot" afterwards, and may throb!. It wont be a sharp pain though!. They will probably use alcohol anyway to sterilise the area!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

The alcohol rubbed on your arm is not the same as the alcohol that numbs pain!. That euphemism is about drinking alcohol and forgetting your problems!. Which isn't a good idea!. The alcohol (the rubbing kind) they use on your arm is to prevent infection!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

the first two answers are correct!. Consuming alcohol numbs pain as it slows down your central nervous system, thus making you feel less physical pain, hence the saying that a drunk person "is really going to feel that tomorrow"!. Www@Answer-Health@Com

the alcohol isn't to numb pain it is to clean off the area so the needle doesn't push germs into youWww@Answer-Health@Com
