Question: How long will my soon to be amputated left-ring finger take to heal!?
After much consulting with doctors and fellow answers users', I am having my left-ring finger amputated at the first joint in a couple of weeks to enhance my chances of going on to play professional AFL football without the inconvenience of my dodgy finger!. What I wanted to know is, how long will it take for the stump to heal!? I know of a couple of ex-AFL footballers who went through the same process, and were back training within a week of having their fingers amputated!. Www@Answer-Health@Com

That all depends on how fast you heal!. Some people take longer to heal than others!. It could be a week or a few day's!. Sorry to hear that you have to loose part of your finger!. Good luck and hope this helps!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
