Abusing pain medication?!
Question: Abusing pain medication!?
I'm watching Dr!. Phil now and it's about a mom who takes 30-50 vicodin per day, at times!.
I'm wondering, what exactly does it mean to be 'high' on pain meds!?
I have been prescribed percocet for about 3 months for pain relating to kidney failure and surgery!. In those three months I've taken about 5 pills total!. I have no idea how someone could take that many! When I take a pain pill, I usually fall asleep and wake up 8 hours later!. I usually only take half of a low dose pill!. I guess I just dont understand what an increased dose would do, besides make you more tired!.!.!.
I guess I'm lucky enough to not face addiction - I really don't understand it!.
I know that pain meds are for the most part narcotics!. What drugs are also narcotics besides Rx meds!? Www@Answer-Health@Com

Here ;watch this!. Anymore questions!. E-mail me!. And a REAL pain person, DOES not get high off pain meds anymore!. It begins mental, chasing a blood level, and than increasing doses to get that euphoria is what is the beginning of addiction and dependence, If you fall asleep because of pain meds, the dose is too high!. and a lot of people regarless if they have a addictive personality or not get a surge of energy off them!. ANd clean their house, and accomplish tasks with no problem, over exerting themsleves!. In a sense be glad you had this reaction to them, anyone can get hooked on these things!. ANd the onset of addiction happens so quckly, you would never even knew what happened!. If someone put just 10mg's of Methadone a day in your food, and than didn't, you would in two days want to blow your brains out!. And withdraw for two weeks of the most agonizing hell you ever felt!. You would be addicted no matter what you can and cannot understand!.
And only opiates in the true sense are narcotics!.

It seems like she would overdose! I am prescribed Loritabs right now for migraines and I hate taking them because I cant function!. It makes me think about all the drugies that get high on pills!. I am like you, not addicted to certain things (besides cupcakes!), I just dont have that kind of personality!. I once new someone who was addicted to addarol!. It was bad! Www@Answer-Health@Com
