Question: My 9 year old's injury is causing pains! ( Earn 2 points for answering this simple question )!?
Kelly (9) fell on some steps and she but a bandage on it !. Now the bandage sticks to her injury, well the non- sticky part and it sticks and she is scared!. It is causing her to have pains !. How can I get it to get off my child's skin!. Whoever helps my child will get 10 points!. Please help!Www@Answer-Health@Com

You should make a nice bubble bath for her, have her soak in the bath until the bandage loosens!. The secretions from the wound have probably dried onto the bandaid so dont pull it off, it could rip the healing skin with it!. If the bandage wont come off with a 5min soak you can use a little bit of hair conditioner (mild children's formual if you have it) and rub that on, tell her there are magic fairys in there to get the bandaid off!. If that still doesnt work you can purchase a no sting adhesive remover to break down whatever is holding it on!. Good luckWww@Answer-Health@Com
maybe use like baby oil or soap, but water should work even on waterproof bandaids then just distract here and quickly pull it off it always works for our 4 year old cousinWww@Answer-Health@Com
Just soak in the bath tub for a few minutes and it'll come right off - no troubles!Www@Answer-Health@Com
