My bf was telling me about a small bump which was painful in the abdomen and he consulted a doctor and he is diognosed with hernia!. I am scared about him!. Is it dangerous!? Will there be any complications during the surgary!? How long will be the recovery time after the operation!?

No a hernia is not dangerous once spotted and taken care of!. Of course any surgery can have complications but should you worry!?!?!? No, not at all!. Its a simple procedure that hundreds of doctors do everyday without a single problem!. Recovery time should not be long at all!. They will most likely release him the day after his surgery!.
