Question: Any suggestions as to why my ear hurts so much!?
Ok so I went to the doctor today because my ear has been really hurting me!.!. like an infection the only thing is she could not find anything wrong with me! Said i have no ear infection or anything!.!. my glands feel swollen and my ear is still killing me!.!. she gave me some sinus pain reliever medication but it is not working!.!. any ideas!? or what it could be!? Ok, well I went through this and it cost me a pretty penny, they sent me for a few tests and tried treating me for a sinus infection and it didn't help then my glands got sore like I had the mumps and then the base of my skull started hurting I was so scared no one could help me, I had CAT scans on neck and sinus, all came out Ok, money down the drain, I went back for a check up no ear infections no impacted sinus but terrible ear pain and awful gland and neck and skull base pain, and it all started with a sore ear!.!.!. I don't envy you!. I just took pain meds and anti inflammatory meds took MONTHS to go away, still not sure what it was, I do feel like as a result of all that pain and problems I get a stabbing dull pain in my jugular area when I get stressed out!.!. any of this sound familiar to anyone!? I did a lot of research on google when it was going on, there were a few posts on a few sites and they were calling it the neck flu!.!. so that's all I have but I will say, if you have what I had expect pain in the base of your skull next and then more neck pain as if you had the mumps I even had some swelling and looked like I had the mumps!.!.!. all so weird!! You may have arthritis in your jaw joint!. I had a similar pain in my ear, and when my doctor couldn't find anything, I went to and ENT doctor, who also could find nothing wrong with the ear !.!.!. but he asked me if I had any arthritis type pain anywhere else!. I did, and he told my regular doctor to check me for arthritis in my jaw!. The other thing you may have is TMJD !.!.!. temporal mandibular joint disease!. This, too, can present as extreme pain in the ear!. Ask your doctor to check you to be sure what is wrong with you isn't one of these two fairly rare and therefore difficult to diagnose problems!. If you rip your ipod all the way up and jam out, you've got a TON of earwax and sometimes it can give you headaches!. Happened to me once!. (now i keep my ipod lower!.!.!. haha)!.

If you listen to a lot of music, than don't listen to it for now!. Playing music loudly can effect your ear, so if you are going to listen to music, than don't put the volume up so high!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
Your sinuses are blocked causing pain in your ear which will eventually lead to an ear infection!.!.!.!.take the decongestant and open up the passages and hope you don't antibiotics!.!.!.!.!.!.
