Question: I have a question about tmj!?
my jaw pops excessivly sometimes!.
i grind my teeth!.!.
good friend of mine told me it might be tmj!.
its been happening since i was 9
im thirteen!.!.
also:
I might have tonsilitis!.
tonsils are spotted white
its difficult to swallow
throat hurts
cold symptoms
i usually have this every year but when i go to the doctor they say it isnt strep throat!.
how long is tonsilitis contagous

Ah!.!.!.I have the jaw popping and grinding of the teeth thing as well!. It's been going on for as long as I can remember!.!.!.I'm now 20!.
My dentist told me that popping of the jaw is sometimes natural in people, like in my case!. Maybe for you its the same!. Only if your jaw actually hurts when it pops, or if it comes out of place every once in a while should you seriously think about getting it checked out!.
Otherwise, it may just be some muscles rubbing on each other!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

You may have TMJ go see your dentist and he should refer you to an orthodontist as you may need to wear a mouth splint at night to relieve the pressure of your jaw!. I have this prob and have one!.
You may have tonsilitis but it could also be a viral infection, I had the same prob last week and got some penicillin off the doctor!. Tonsilitis is only really contagious if you are in close contact ie kissing!.
