Question: How long should it take for a swollen hand to go down!?
I was in the hospital and they blew a vein so now my hand is swollen but it hurts by my middle finger on the side!.

I would say in a day or so!.!. it should all be gone!.!.
In the mean time!.!.
take a warm bathe!.!. and afterwards put your hand on a cold ice pack in bed!.!.
If you have any Aleve!.!. but check with ur dr first!.!.

depends, try a cold pack for 30 mins and then place a hot pack on hand for 30 min!. it will help with imflammation!. if you have pain aleve seems to work best, but if it is a bad pain, try tylenol rapid release!. if swelling and pain last for more that 24 hours!. go see your dr!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
I would say a couple of days for the swelling to go down!. You can take some pain killers!.!. or advil for the pain!. I'm sorry and I hope you feel better :) Have a good day
