Mum should wear loosely fitting clothes, to ease pressure or rubbing on the affected area!.
Painkillers (prescribed by her doctor) are helpful!.
Cool bathing may help!. Tell her to avoid powdery lotions as these irritate the areas where blisters have broken!.
There is a cream (her doctor may/may not of heard of it) made with extract of chilli seeds to minimise pain!.
Mum also needs to eat plenty of citrus fruit, apricots, cherries, tomatoes and pawpaw for vitamin C and bioflavonoids, as well as safflower oil, nuts, olive oil and avocados for vitamin E!. All these foods contain antooxidants, which may help to prevent inflammation!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

You are a great daughter to be so concerned about your mother!. The only thing that you can do is get whatever she needs for her!. Maybe some extra pillows to help put her in a more comfortable position, get her something to drink when she's thirsty and things like that!. there are good drugs for the pain which are essentially anti-epileptic drugs, since the pain is sourced in the brain!. Carbemazepine is one!. control the diabetes well!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
whatever the doctor prescribes!. shingles is painful, but she should only be taking what the doctor says!. i'm sure her doctor knows about the diabetes!. i hope she gets better!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
