Question: Should i get a second opinion!?
okay, my son has a rash all over his body accompanied by really red face(cheeks) as a mild fever 38C, i took him to the doctor who took one look at him and said it was a viral rash!.!.!.
the doctor did not check his mouth/throat, look at his ears or eyes and just asked if his injections were up to date (they are) he also seemed unconcerned by my sons complaint of pressure in his head (he's five and said it felt like his head was being squashed)!.!.!.
!.!.!.however he is generally quite chatty and alert!.!.!.
this morning he looks no better in fact a little worse!.!.!.am i being a fussy mum or should i get a second opinion as the doctor i saw did not seem very thorough!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

If your five yr old has a head ache and fever as well as a rash you need to get help!. Did the first doc give a script!? Was your son vaccinated for the chicken pox!? If they started around his belly it's probably what he has!. Take him to the er if the headache and fever persist!. Sad but sometimes doc's just push people along without really taken a good look at things!.

yes get a second opinion it could be parvo its a pets disease but my daughter got it and had the same symptoms they gave her a cream and it cleared right upWww@Answer-Health@Com
