Question: Pain 6 months following Scoliosis Surgery!?
I am 16 and even though the worst of the pain has gone, I still get sort of stabbing muscle pains and achy pains, if I've been standing for a while or not sitting properly!. is this normal!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

I remember having occasional pains!. This was from the muscles healing!. Remember, they were cut through in order to get to your spine!. As long as the problems you're having are happening less and less often as you heal, I think you're okay!. Ask your surgeon to be sure!. Its been awhile since I was fused!. :-)Www@Answer-Health@Com
This is not normal and could be as a result of something like damage to the nerves around the area where you had surgery (an example only)!.
I would recommend letting your doctor know what's going on for further evaluation of the situation to see what they say, but even before that I would recommend letting your mom know what's going on so that she can help you keep an eye on the situation!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
