Question: OMG !.!.!. my finger turned yellow !.!. !.and rough !?
today in organic lab we did nitration of methyl benzoate i noticed that a spot in my finger is yellow i didn't give it any attention but now i'm at home it's realllly bothering me ( no pain tho)
the spot is soooo dry and annoying what can i do !?
and why is it yellow !?!? in the lab we used
- sulfuric acid
- methyl benzoate
- HNO3 HNO4

Okay, Sulfuric Acid: Bad!.
You seriously need to go wash your hands, now!.
Here's what to do:
1!. LOAD your hand on with Anti-Bacterial soap, and if possible some hand sanitizer!.
2!. Wash your hands under extremely hot water!. (It's going to hurt, but you need to do it!
3!. Wash your hands with large amounts of soaps for about a half an hour!.
4!. If this does NOT work, try repeating the steps numerous times!. those chemicals are bad, so dont eat with that spot, even after it's been washed!. Eat with the other hand!.
5!. If it doesnt go away by 24 hours, go see a doctor!. It should have came off by now, and if it didnt, it's alright, they can get pretty much anything off your skin, so dont worry!.

Wash your hands immediatley under hot water and sanitize then repeat until it comes off!.!.if it doesnt within 24 hours see a doctor
