Question: Shoulder pain!!! Any advice!?
I posted in another section too, just looking for some answers!

My right shoulder is in so much pain! I think its the muscle and it burns no matter how I hold my arm and if I turn my neck to the right it hurts even worse!. Sometimes the pain shoots through the right side of my body!. I had nothing traumatic happen but I just had a baby 3 weeks ago and I am breastfeeding her, maybe that has something to do with it!? This started about 3 days ago and since then I have been using ALOT of pillows to feed her so there is no pressure on it but it still is killin me! I had someone try to massage it, but that was extremely painful!.!.!.Any thoughts!? Obviously my doctor hasn't been open this weekend so I will make an appt tomorrow so!.!.!.please help in the meantime!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Does it hurt to breathe in!? I had this happen to be over labor day!. They had to give me steriod and Darvocet!. The lining of my lungs were inflammed!. (My son is 3 months old!. I am also breastfeeding!.) I would just go and get it checked out!. Www@Answer-Health@Com

Even though you have used lots of pillows you could have still pulled a muscle when moving your baby on your arm, or when he/she is laying on your arm!. Perhaps use a heat pad or a cold compress!. Also do you rotate and not just feed baby on one breast!? Rotating is good but if baby is mostly on the one breast this could also cause pain!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Since you just had a baby it could just be from holding her!. My baby just turned 8 weeks and my lower back hurts a lot from holding her so much!. I got a glider to help and it has made a big difference!. Try taking a warm bath and putting a warm compress on your shoulder for a few days!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

I had the same pain in my right shoulder, since your breast feeding please don't take any pain medication, Go to a chiropractor, I did and turns out my shoulder was out, he popped it right back into the socket, my pain was immediately gone!!! Good luck!Www@Answer-Health@Com

try ibuprofen and use ice or a heating pad whatever feels better and see some a orthopedic Www@Answer-Health@Com
