My pharmacist filled my prescription wrong...?!

Question: My pharmacist filled my prescription wrong!.!.!.!?
My Doc wrote me for 60 ambien!. I have had the script for a few days, and just noticed that he only filled it for 30!. Should I call the pharmacy!? I know I paid for them, because it usually only cost me $14!.00, but the other day was $23!.00!. I do not have the reciept!. I would think that a months supply shortage would be easily traced!. I checked to make sure, and there are no refills!. Www@Answer-Health@Com

Answers:
If the label says 60, then he shorted you!. The pharmacist has the prescription on file, so go back and check what the prescription says and make sure that you clear it up with the pharmacy- getting shorted on a controlled substance prescription is crappy!. So take the bottle in, talk face to face with the pharmacist and go over the scrip that the pharmacy must have on file!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

this happens a lot!. the doctor gave you 2 month prescription!. when you have insurance, the insurance only covers 1 month at a time!. So next month you should get other 30 free!. But I always call number on bottle!. At least to make sure next month is free!. You never want to get jipped!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

If you have insurance, they won't allow you to get more than 30 in a month!. Also, Ambien is a controlled medication and that can impact the amount you can fill!. Call the pharmacy!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
