Pain in shoulder after surgery?!

Question: Pain in shoulder after surgery!?
I had arthroscopic shoulder surgery about 9 months ago!. About once a week or so, it swells and puts me in pretty serious pain!. I'm just wondering if this is fairly normal after this type of surgery!.

For those who don't know, basically the doctor tightened my ligaments and anchored my shoulder into the socket because it was sublaxing so much, due to being double jointed!.

However, i'd love to know if anyone knows if this is a normal thing after this type of surgery!. Thanks in advance!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Well!.!.!. I never went through that kind of surgery, but I have something similar to it!. I have a few wires that hold my arm to my shoulder together, to dumb it down!. I have pain because of the shifts my muscles go through!. I think it might just be that!. Try to fight the pain and get used to it!. I have my surgery about 5 years ago and it bothers me a little still!. Not as bad as it used to!. Its just going to be part of the healing process!. I would also suggest going back to your doctor to get a X-ray to make sure everything is still ok!. I say that only because one time one of the wires I have wrapped around muscle and cut off the circulation lol!. I hope this helps!!!Www@Answer-Health@Com

a friend of mine had torn ligaments in his shoulder and thumb!. After surgery you will see inflammation but in no way after nine months!. There could be a possibility of infection if not you may have fluids building in your arm which you need to remove but its not the worst thing!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
