Hi! can someone help me?!
Question: Hi! can someone help me!?
for the last week, i have had fluid coming out of my ears (only at night)!. when i wake up in the morning, my pillow has lots of little yellow/brown stains on it and i cant really hear properly!. any ideas!?!?Www@Answer-Health@Com
Answers:
There are 2 likely causes!.!.!. which can be differentiated by the smell of the fluid!. I know its a rather odd test!.!.!. but it works well!.
1!. No Smell
If the stain does not had a smell then you are merely suffering from a build up of wax that becomes more liquid when you are asleep and your ear warms up against the pillow and then effectively melts!.
Solution: Go to the doctors and get them syringed!.
2!. Rather nasty smell
If the stain/liquid has a rather dislikable smell you are likely to be suffering from an inner ear infection!. They are relatively easy to treat with a short-term course of anti-biotics and should clear up within a week!. The oozing is a rather uncomfortable side effect of the infection as your body tries to flush out the bacteria but it is necessary for it to heal!. If it continues during the day merely use a small amount of cotton wool in your outer ear to prevent any of the liquid from escaping!.
Solution: Get to the doctors asap and get it sorted out :)Www@Answer-Health@Com

Is this both ears!? It's may be a buildup of wax!. Pop along to your Doctor and he will tell you straight away!. If it is wax the surgery nurse will syringe your ears out!.
If it is not and is something like an infection he will give you some medication or refer you to ear, nose and throat department of your local hospital!. Good Luck and don't worry about it - but do go to the Doctor as soon as you can!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
