Question: Can i go to differnet doctor besides family doctor!?
i need to make an appointment with a pshychiatrist but requires to be make through family doctor, my family doctor is freaking far from where i live now so can i go to nearby one!.

Yes!. You can make an appt!. with ANY primary!. You can change primary doctors as often as you want!. You might want to switch to a primary that lives closer to you!. But, to answer your question, any primary can give you the referall!.
Btw, kudos to you for seeing a psychiatrist!. They are SO smart, and come up with meds that other doctors don't even thing of!. One star for you!!!

It may depend on what kind of insurance you have!. If your insurance dictates that you have to use one of their doctors, they should provide you with a Provider Guide (a list of physicians on their plan)!. If you don't have this, either call them and get a copy or look online at your insurance company's website!.
If your insurance doesn't dictate which doctor you can see, you can go to any family doctor near where you live!. Just make sure they accept your insurance before you make the appointment!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
