Is it good for you to soak in a hot tub?!


Question: Is it good for you to soak in a hot tub!?
I read somewhere that taking a too hot/cold shower is bad for you, and makes your veins more noticeable!. So does soaking in a hot tub do the same to you!? Is it good for you!? And is soaking your feet good for you!? It feels great in the winter, and my mom says I should do it for ten minutes a day!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

I'm not sure where you read that but my advice would be the opposite at least when it comes to warm/hot baths!. You should take baths in water at a very warm temp (like a hot tub)!. They will relax your muscles, help circulation, help relieve stress in general and assist in detoxing your body!. You should sit in them for between 10-20 minutes (around the time you start to wrinkle)!. They are very good for you and are recommended over taking a shower!. So my advice is to take them as much as you can :)

I heard that too much of anything is not good for you!. I never heard of a too hot/cold shower will make veins more noticeable but you could always check with your doctor just to be on the safe side!. I love soaking in a bath tub its very soothing and relaxing and there is nothing wrong with it!. Soaking your feet in water is good because not only does it refresh your feet but rubbing your feet in the water and massaging it improves your circulation so I would say that its a good thing!.
