Question: Broke arm 8 days ago, been running a fever!.!?
My son broke his arm 8 days ago!. He has been running a slight fever for 3 days now!. Should I be worried or is it just his body just trying to heal itself!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

Answers:
Yes, I don't want to be alarmist but he needs to see a doctor!. He might have a fever if there is an infection!. If he does have an infection and it's bacterial, the doctor will put him on antibiotics!.

(It's not normal to run a fever because the body is trying to heal a broken bone - fever is symptomatic of something more than that, such as a viral or bacterial infection!.)Www@Answer-Health@Com

Let me get this straight, you a mother, have a son, I presume under the age of 18, who supposedly broke his arm and supposedly is now running a fever, and I take it you're checking things out HERE before THINKING to take him to the ER!?! Uh, you're being negligent and could be locked up for failing to provide medical care for a minor who's in your care and you're legally responsible for!
Number 1: No matter if the bone is showing through the skin (compound fracture) or just a minor fracture or let me guess, are you a doctor, and if you are, then you'd have a brain to KNOW A CHILD needs to be seen by medical personnel! Number 2: Seeing as how there is now an infection brewing, you will be held responsible and CPS will most likely be called on you when you get there, just a fair warning!. You're in big trouble!

BTW: So, are you going to keep your son out of school until his supposedly broken arm heals and if you do try that, I can assure you you will lose him because aside from the fact that you failed to provide med!. care when needed for a minor, AND you failed to take him in even when he developed a fever, AND now you may be planning to keep him out of school so as to avoid anyone else getting wind of his broken arm!? The law states: "All children must go to school!." Now, when they come to investigate why he's not there, he'll go into protective state custody and you WILL go to jail, ALL of which could have been avoided by you being a good and decent mom and simply taking your child to the ER to be checked and maybe get a lollipop!

God help you!Www@Answer-Health@Com
