Question: How long does wisdom tooth extraction pain last!?
so i have 2 questions!.!. i had my lower left wisdom tooth extracted last monday however i can still feel discomfort even when im on the medication advised me to take tylenol with codeine!.!. which honestly isnt doing S**T bc it still hurts does anyone have an idea why im still feeling the effects!.!.!. Question number 2!.!. i have 3 remaing wisdom teeth that need to get pulled out should i pull the rest of them at once!. or remove 2 then remove the final one at a later time!.!. im just a lil cautious due to the fact that i still feel pain from the first one!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

If its still stabbing pains, then you might need to get it checked!. Otherwise, you pretty much just have to live with it!. Remember, the meds take the edge off but don't take all the pain away!. There is some residual pain at the site for a while as the area is easily inflammed!. Be careful what you eat, as some things are more irritating!. You'll also get some mild discomfort as the bone remodels!.!.!. you might get small pieces of bone that your body pushes up through the gum tissue as it works to fill in the old root socket!.
Get them done at one time!. If it hurts this much, its better to not have several more rounds!. I had all four impacted wisdom teeth in one shot, and it worked wonders!. My face looked horrible (yellow green bruising from my lips to my collar bone lol) and there was still some pain for a good week afterward!. The best part was not having to go back again!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

I must have been lucky as I had one out and then the remaining 3 out together, one was stitched!. I felt mild discomfort for about 2 days, mostly tender but not pain!.
Did you have them out with anaesthetic or just in the dentist chair!. If you have them out whilst you are under it usually means that they are harder to get out and the dentist has to be a lot more brutal which leads to bruising of the jaw and a hamster like face and more afterpain!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Sincere sympathies!. I 've had 2 pulled in the past 2 years!. The pain went after 10 days for me!. so hang on in there!. I was given "Co- Codamol" ( which contains Codeine Phosphate PH EUR 30mg + Paracetamol PH EUR 500mg ) which worked well, especially for the first 5-7 days!. Regarding if it is best to pull out two teeth out at the same time, I think it's up to you, if you can handle the after effects of the procedure!. It is best to ask your dentist for this advice!. I got all 4 of mine taken out at the same time!. I'm a big baby when it comes to needles so they took me to the hospital and put me under!. I took the pain meds too which did nothing for me!. Make sure not to talk for a few days, don't suck liquids with a straw and nothing solid for a day or two!. I stopped taking the meds the first night and felt better the next day!. Put bags of frozen peas around your jaw to take away swelling and drink lots of milkshakes (no straw!) Www@Answer-Health@Com
My pain lasted about 10 days then subsided!. I would have the rest removed at the same time then at least that will be the next batch of pain over and done with!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
