Okay, I don't care if this guy is an ER doctor or not (recommending a dull paperclip to be shoved through a nail!!!), but I do not recommend puncturing your nail with something that is burning hot! I would go see your primary doctor!. He may tell you to let it grow out or he may tell you he has to puncture the nail and relieve the pressure!. Puncturing a nail can lead to severe infection if done incorrectly!. My father is a plastic surgeon and we NEVER tell people to treat themselves unless it's soaking the finger or changing their bandages!. And if you go to the doctor, it will hurt a lot less if he does it with the proper tools!!! Www@Answer-Health@Com
If it was recent, the the blood is still liquid!. Apply ice to the fingernail!. That will help to numb it!. Then, take a paper clip and heat the tip until it glow red!. Quickly plunge it into the nail at the center of the clot!. Then grab the ice and put it back on until any discomfort subsides!. Done quickly nd bravely, there should be minimal discomfort!. Once the blood has finished draining, apply a bandage!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
