Rectal bleeding - is it serious? (real question)?!

Question: Rectal bleeding - is it serious!? (real question)!?
I have been getting a lot of rectal bleeding for the past month or so!. I sit pretty much all day, and I have visible external hemorrhoids that look pretty bad!. I have had bleeding on and off over the years, had 2 colonoscopies and it came up as just hemorrhoids both times!. But I have never had it for so long!.

It gets worse after bowel movements, but it starts bleeding for no apparent reason even during the day, perhaps due to pressure from sitting!. I don't know!.

I have a doctor's appointment in a couple of days - finally - but I'm really concerned!. What could it be!? What else should I be looking for!?

This is a real question and I would appreciate real answers!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

My first thought is that it is just the hemroids bleeding, but There are other things that cause it as well, For example, I had this happen seven years ago, I did not have hemroids, and I had bleeding, and I went and had a colonoscopy done, and it turned out that I had a lot of very large colon pollups that were beginning to turn cancerous, Fortunatley, they were able to get them out of me, and it saved my life!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

What kind of bleeding!? Fresh blood!? Blood within the stool!? Or black tarry stool!?

I think you should undergo hemorrhoidectomy!. It's only an external hemorrhoid, the surgery wouldn't be very intensive!. Ask your doctor about it!. For now, avoid eating spicy foods for this makes expelling of stool painful!. And drink plenty of water to regain fluid loss!.

But still, follow the doctor's advise to undergo certain diagnostic tests for this can rule out possible compications since it's already been a year!.

Good luck!Www@Answer-Health@Com

most likely your hemorrhoids if you have been check for cancer with in the last few years Www@Answer-Health@Com

Hi, I am undergoing the same problem and have been having treatment and tests for the past year!. So far they have done a signoscopy, barium enema, and now I am having the magic eye!. Like you was told that it was internal hemorrhoids!. They bleed with I go to the toilet and normally during the movement not after which isn't the hemorrhoids!. This is way they are doing the magic eye tomorrow!. Go back and get it checked in y case it has started a milk allergy off that I have never had before!. This may be the case with yourself, or irritable bowel!? Chrons disease all need to be ruled out!. Try not to panic as your doctor will take good care of you and do everything he can to find out!. It could still be your hemorrhoids, if you have been straining for a while or upset them this would make them bleed a lot more and for longer!. It does sound a lot like them and could be because of the pressure of sitting!. Have you tried a pillow on your seat as a temp measure!? JUst to help a bit with some of the pressure!. Good luck I know how scary this can be, going through it myself!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Thankfully you're going to the doctor!. There are treatments you can get for hemorrhoids!. Have you let your problem go too long!?

That may be why you're bleeding - I hope that's all it is!.
If you've been trying to get help for this for 2 years, it might be time to try a new doctor!.
If it is just (piles) it shouldn't be so hard to control (if you get them once you can continually get them recurring!) but you should still beable to keep them under control and not suffer for more than a few days!.
The other thing you might want to change is the seat you sit on all day at work!.
Something soft would definitely be the way to go!. Sitting on something hard will aggravate your condition!. Either splash out and get yourself a decent seat or talk to your boss - it's only in his/her best interests in the long run, or you're going to start taking too much time off work when it gets too painful to move!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
