Question: Getting orthodics, how do they do it!?
I'm 16 years old and have severe flat feet!. I just went to the doctors yesterday and i have to go fitted for orthodics monday!.
I was just wondering how they actually do it, I am not a fan of people touching my feet, it turns my stomach for some reason, but i just want a heads up on how they are going to do the molding for it!. It is always good to know what they are gonna do so you will have an idea when you go in to get it done!. Www@Answer-Health@Com

they take a mold of your foot- the last one i had done was plaster, but they may have a new and improved version now!. are you getting a specially designed shoe, or are they making you an insert that you can put in different shoes!. i had the special shoe- which was ugly and heavy, and i hated it!. i think it was made of steel or lead-i had the ugliest shoes in school!. its so much better now with the inserts!. they do work!. my feet were so flat, they were almost rounded on the bottom!. and now i have an arch- im sure it will work well for you too!. my doctor also told me i had to roll my foot on a soup can for 15 minutes each day- it was supposed to help build up the arch- you could try it-good luck to you!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

I had orthodics made a couple years or so ago and the doctor used a box with soft styrofoam type stuff in it that I stepped in and made an impression!.!.!. no mess:)Www@Answer-Health@Com
