Question: How long will my burn blister take to heal!?
So I was being drunk and stupid when I was talked into burning my arm with a lighter to make a 'smiley face'!. Well, I guess I heated the lighter for too long cause now I've got a half inch wide circular blister to deal with!.!. instead of a cute smiley!. So I know its best not to burst the blister, but leaving it intact how long will it take to drain on its own and heal!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

It depends how large the blister is!. Half an inch wide, you said, but is it protruding a lot!? i!.e!. is it almost flat or is it raised considerably!? The flatter it is the quicker it will heal since there's less fluid to absorb!. But assuming it's about a quarter of an inch raised, it should heal in about a week!. If it's smaller, probably about 5 days!. If it's larger, 10-14 days!.
Keep it clean, that will help heal it faster!.
Also, soaking it in an epsom salt and warm water solution might help shrink the blister via osmosis, and smaller blister means faster healing!. At the very least the epsom salts will prevent infection!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

I think it's a good thing that you leave it intact!. This way the risk of infections is smaller!. Nevertheless, if it is only a small blister you can as well cut it open!. The healing process should take about 2 - 3 weeks!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
