Question: At my wits end! help somoone please!?
I went to the genitary urinary clinic today with symptoms of hot flushes, pain in the abdomen, FEELING sick, tiredness and dizziness and asked if they could do a ultrasound scan to rule out anything!. They said they can't do it and I'll have to go to the gp!. I have had these symptoms for over 3 years now!. I have seen different doctors with problem but they always give me some paracetamol and say if the problem persists come back again so I keep going back etc!.!.!. but nothing is done!. The doctor I saw today even said they should be doing something but he cannot do anything because it is a different area!. I asked him what he thought it was and he said he didn't know (how can he know its a different area) I looked into the walk in private clinics were you can requests tests but as Im a student can no way afford the money which is about

Don't write off tomorrow's appointment!. Sometimes a fresh pair of eyes can pick up symptoms that your normal GP may have missed!.

You have my sympathy!. My Mum went through seven years of being told she wasnt right in the head before they finally diagnosed her!. She was actualy pleased to be told she was going to be disabled because it didnt mean she was insane!.
My advice to you is to keep going back to the same gp!. Request that they do further tests!. If nothing happens, write to the head of the practice, send it recorded delivery!. If nothing happens take it further, make official complaints, take it to your paper!. Kick up as much of a stink as you have to!. Dont just sit back and wait for something to start going really wrong!. Your mind needs to be put at ease!. Www@Answer-Health@Com
