Got stung by a wasp yesterday I think, the marks aren't going away?!

Question: Got stung by a wasp yesterday I think, the marks aren't going away!?
I was at the grocery store, and I thought it was a bee was buggin me!. I left it alone but it wouldnt get out of my face!. So I swatted at it!. Anyway I thought it went away and it didnt, it landed on my side, so when I put my arm down the thing stung me like 4 times!. When I lifted my arm it flew away so thats why I think its a wasp or hornet not a bee!. I am not like deathly allergic to wasps or bees but a few years ago I got stung by a ground bee that turned into a secondary infection!. Anyway, I got home, scraped the wound, washed it, and put some cortizone creme on it to stop the itching!. Today its large, raised, red and puffy and hurts like hell and itches!. Now the other 3 sting marks are not as large but the one is huge!. They are all puffy and raised!. Do I leave it go and watch it for a few days!? or do I go in now and just have them look at it!? It doesnt look like its really spreading but more like its just raising up and getting puffierWww@Answer-Health@Com

Answers:
My mom swears by mud on bee/wasp stings!. Try dabbing on a good sized blob of Queen Helene Mud Masque (2-3 bucks at any drug store, check the very bottom shelf) after it has dried on, wash with warm water!. Repeat a couple times!.

EDIT
Good idea with the honey! Honey will help as well, honey has amazing healing properties!. It has been used with diabetes patients for years to help them heal wounds, as well as for burn patients!. I however am deadly allergic to the stuff, so I have never tried it on wounds!. You can also take a benedryl, it is safe while you are preggo so don't worry!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Yes, just leave it alone--and watch it for a few days!. It can take up to a week for a wasp sting to go away!.

Ice it if it itches or feels puffier!. You did everything you should have, and now all you can do is wait!.

You could probably wait a day and go to the doctors if it gets worse!. You can put Vinegar on the sting and that will neutralize the acid within the sting!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Wasp stings can last for a couple of weeks!. They will eventually go away!. No need to waste a doctors time with that!. it will itch and look red/swollen for a couple of weeks!. Keep putting cortisone cream on it!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

when we get stung/bit by something i always use baking soda and water!.!.!.mix it up like a thick paste!.!.it will help with swelling and the itching!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

you would just be more safe to go 2 the ER!.!. even if it isnt that bad you still want to stay safe, espicially when you are allergic! Good luck<3Www@Answer-Health@Com

i know it sound really funny but try placing a penny over each sting for a few minutes!. there's something about the copper that pulls the sting, itching and swelling out!. i do this every time i have a sting or bite and i can barely tell within a couple of minutes that i even had one!. even the welt from it is gone!. after you do this though wash the stings thoroughly and apply an antibiotic ointment since you have a past history of infection!. if you don't feel comfortable using the penny method because of the germs associated with/on money which is very understandable just keep the area clean, dry and loosely covered!. use antibiotic ointment and watch carefully for infection!. if it doesn't clear up call your doctor for more adviceWww@Answer-Health@Com
