Question: How are bruised ribs treated!?
I'm doing a project for anatomy class and I need to know how bruised ribs are treated!. Thank you!.
on one web site, it said to wrap in an ace bandage!. on another it said that doctors weren't allowed to do that anymore!.

They don't do anything for bruised ribs!. The might give u a pain reliever but thats it!. I had 4 bruised ribs last year and they told me they would have to heal like anything else that gets bruised!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
when my friend bruised his ribs in a rugby accident the hospital just gave him painkillers and said to rest for a couple of days, avoid exercise and it would get better by itself!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
