Am I at a higher or lower risk for hernias?!

Question: Am I at a higher or lower risk for hernias!?
I've had extensive abdominal surgery (was in a very bad car accident and had a good amount of internal injuries), so I have a pretty good amount of internal (and external) scarring!.

My trauma surgeon went over what I would be at risk for because of the scar tissue, but I can't remember if he said anything about hernias- it's been a few years since all this happened!.

Due to all of the scar tissue, would I be more, or less likely to develop a hernia!?
My stomach is quite sensitive in some areas and I do get a pulling/tugging sensation when I lay in certain positions, but I would think that could just be due to the scarring, but I also know that can be signs of a hernia!. I also have no problems when it comes to eating/digestion!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Answers:
LAY ON YOUR BACK, HOLD YOUR HAND OVER WHERE YOU HAVE THAT PULLING/TUGGING FEELING, HOLD DOWN WITH A LITTLE PRESSURE, NOW COUGH REAL HARD!. IF THE AREA RISES LIKE WITH A LUMP, YOU HAVE A HERNIA!. IF NOT, IT'S JUST THE SCAR TISSUE!. BUT BE CAREFUL YOUNG LADY, AND DON'T LIFT ANYTHING HEAVY UNLESS YOU LET YOUR LEGS DO THE LIFTING!. BENDING OVER USING YOUR HANDS AND ARMS IS WORSE POSITION TO GET A HERNIA!. YOU WOULD BE MORE LIKELY TO DEVELOP HERNIAS BECAUSE ONCE THE STOMACH MUSCLES ARE CUT, THEY NEVER GET BACK TO THE STRENGTH THEY ONCE WERE!. YOUR RISK WOULD BE HIGH!. I'M SORRY THAT YOU WERE IN SUCH A TERRIBLE ACCIDENT, BUT THANK GOODNESS, IT COULD HAVE BEEN WORSE!. WISHING YOU THE VERY BEST IN YOUR LIFETIME, AND MAY YOU NEVER GET A HERNIA OR GET INVOLVED IN ANY MORE ACCIDENTS!. GOOD LUCK!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
