Question: Does anyone know what twitching movements before falling sleep is supposed to mean!?
Ok, about a month ago i was with my partner in bed and was nice and relaxed and really tired!. So i'm nodding off and feeling all sleepy!. I obviously don't remember the next bit (i was asleep) but according to my boyfr, i was twitching all over!. Not in epileptic style movements (i'm not btw) but he said it was like each part of me was twitching!. Legs, arms, eyes flickering etc!. He didn't have a clue what was going on but gently called my name to which i awoke with a sudden jerk!.!.anyone know what these are!? I'm fit and healthy don't have any medical conditions just wondered what was going on!?!? It has happened before but not for a long while!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

I get that! I feel like I'm falling and then I twitch and it wakes my Husband and I!. Apparently it's just your nerve endings shutting off as you fall asleep (to effectively paralyse you so you can't sleepwalk)!. Www@Answer-Health@Com
It might also be a normal action for the brain when falling asleep!. Kind of like the dream where you feel like you're falling and then jerk awake!.!.!.!.it must have something to do with the brin changing from awake mode to sleep mode!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
This could be a electrolyte imbalance!. It is similar to what causes leg cramps ta night in many people!. Try changing your diet to include more potassium rich foods!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
