5 HTP works on the serotonin--
just liek the recommened meds Cymbalta, tramadol--
i don't know how similar they are---5HTP doesn't work on Norepinephrin like Cymbalta and may do different things
as it is a disorder of teh central nervous system--you need to look fro things taht regulate the neuro system
\you nee somehting that targets the signals from teh brain to teh body (neuro meds)
not things that target signals from tehbody to teh brain (narcotics, NSAIDS)
the satff at places like GNC should be able to direct you

Fibro is not to be laughed at, go to a Pain Clinic they will help you to deal with the Pain!. Everybodys pain tolerance level is different!.!. Get a referral from your Doctor, there are no quick fixes!.!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
My mom uses a roll on pain reliever called Bio Freeze (Similar to Ben Gay)!. She says it helps some, but she is on all types of pain meds!. Www@Answer-Health@Com
