Question: Shooting pains in the head when sniffing hard!?
Probably sounds weird but I am actually a bit worried!. I've had a pretty bad cold and this morning I was sniffing a lot trying to clear my nose and all of a sudden I got this really sharp pain that I felt go up my nose to around near my eye and then up into my head!. It stayed there for about 20 seconds really smarting until it eased off!. I then got this again about 10 mins later!. This was a few hours ago and it hasn't come back since!. I've been careful not to sniff very hard!. What is this likely to have been!? Should I be worried!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

It happened to me, it's just from sniffing too much, your body (nose/pasages etc) took some strain!.
You'll see, the cold will go away, and it probably won't happen again for years!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

OK WELL SNIFFING a little is ok but why are you sniffing hard!?!!.!.we have a nose for many different reasons but if we have a cold it isn't normal to sniff that gross stuff back up!! BLOW YOUR NOSE!!!.!.!.!.you could have a sinus infection now!.!.!.!.try Sudafed for a couple of days to see ifyou can dry up but if the pain comes back then you'll most likely need antibiotics!.!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
