Lol, I have that same problem sometimes!. I am terrible when it comes to large spiders (I love other little beasties but just not spiders)!. Yes it is safe - large spiders are territorial so there probably won't be another large spider in your room!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
It's probably safe for now - but perhaps you should bear in mind that there are claims we on average swallow 4 spiders in our sleep over our lifetime!.

well unless it laid eggs, but i doubt it, as you would see a spiderweb which usually are on the ceiling, or in cupboards etc!.
