Question: 2 year old son burned his hand- HELP!?!!?

My two year old grabbed the iron, and burned his hand!. As soon as it happened, I ran his hand under cool/warm water, and now he seems fine!. He says it hurts, but there's no blisters and it's barely red!. But, when I read about burns, it says if it's on the hands, take him to the doctor!? So, should I make the trip!?

Firstly you did right by emersing his hand in cold water not warm!. Secondly if there are no blisters and its hardly red then i dont think a doctor really needs to see him!. but if you are unsure contact NHS direct for advise and just keep an eye on him!.
