Question: A swollen knee!?!!?!!?!!?!!?
at school, i kneed someone, and she is indestructable, so i didn't hurt her, but I hurt myself because when I did it, she was moving, so I kneed her in a really weird place, well anyway, my knee started to swell, and I don't know what to do to make the swelling go down, and also, my mom doesn't know about it, and everytime I get hurt, she tells me to suck it up, and I have been on crutches 3 times, so I don't want to be on crutches again, and I don't know how to tell her about because apparently to her, I whine a lot, so she might not beleive me and take it seriously, how should I tell my mom, and what can I do to make it feel betterWww@Answer-Health@Com

I'm a nurse, so let me see if I can help you!. For starters, to get the swelling to go down apply heat and ice, at alternating times!. Also take an anti-infammatory like Advil or Aleve!. If the problem persists, you do need to tell your mother!. You could have an internal injury!. Good luck with it! go to the school nurse and tell her something else that could have happend and she will tell u if you need to have something done!. and put alot of ice on it and and elavait ti above your head or as high as it can goWww@Answer-Health@Com
