Lungs closed up, immense pain, irregular heart beat, help?!

Question: Lungs closed up, immense pain, irregular heart beat, help!?
When i was in 8th grade, one day after athletics, my lungs closed up!. i couldnt breathe at all, and if i tried i felt a really sharp shooting pain all through my body, i couldnt even stand straight up!. i managed to walk to my grandmas house across the street from the gym and collapsed on the couch, and was slowly regaining my ability to breath!. idk what happened, but she used to be a nurse and was taking my blood pressure and pulse and such, and told me to go to the doc and tell them i have an irregular heart beat!.

What do you think caused this to happen to me!? and does having an irregular heart beat at the time of the incident make it worse!? I have occasional chest pain still, and today its been hurting over my heart area and that reminded me of when i collapsed after practice!. what should i do!? what could it be!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

Answers:
you need to go to the ERWww@Answer-Health@Com

Go to the hospital! or call 911 and ask for the paramedics!. You should get your parents permission (if under 18/19 phone or in person) before going in an ambulance; the ambulance can be extremely expensive, and a waste if the condition is not life threatening!. The paramedics should be able to help a lot, and the situation could be life threatening!. I had heart surgery as a very small child; I had chest pains and shortness of breath, but it wasn't life threatening!. Relax, and try to breath calmly as you wait!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
