Calf muscle cramping during the night?!
Question: Calf muscle cramping during the night!?
I get woken up every few days during the night by a excruciating cramp in my left calf!. Why is this!? And are there any stretches that I can do to prevent it!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

'Charley-horses' is the first place your body targets when you are dehydrated!. Drink lots of water! I recommend purified water and Mineral Water mixed 50/50!. It will hurt while you're doing it, but more so the type of pain that actually feels good, in the long run!. Afterwards massage an analgesic cream into the area!. You will start feeling better very quickly!.

You're having what's called a charley horse!. Look at my links for calf stretches and makes sure you drink a lot of water and consume extra potassium, like eating a banana in the morning!. This should help out a lot! Www@Answer-Health@Com
Common causes include dehydration, too much caffeine or too much booze as well as a deficiency of potassium (bananas), calcium (dairy products), magnesium (nuts) and vitamin B6 (dairy products)!. Www@Answer-Health@Com
