Question: How long should i wait for the bleeding to stop!?
I cut the tip of my finger off (small piece) but applying pressure doesn't seem to be stopping the bleeding!. How long should it take!? If the bleeding doesn't stop what would the hospital do different from what I'm currently doing!? (applying pressure)Www@Answer-Health@Com

Keep the arm elevated above the level of your heart and maintain pressure!. Give it 30 minutes without taking pressure off to look at it!!. If it hasn't stopped they may need to suture the blood vessel that is causing the bleed!. They won't reattach a small piece but they will do an xray probably to make sure the bone is intact!. If you are not up to date on your tetanus, you should go and get one!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
are talking about severing of the finger or just a little slice off the first few layers!? if it severed they would reattach it, but i'm guessing its the latter!. the hospital might caterize it, i don't know just guessingWww@Answer-Health@Com
They would probably put crazy glue over it!. This will cover the cut and seal it under the glue!. Did you know that crazy glue was actually invented for medical use such has cuts like yours!?Www@Answer-Health@Com
