Answers:
no this was not right the man should have gone into a side ward and have his own toilet away from all the other patients and he should have been clear for at least 2 days before he was discharged what happened there was against health and safety rules and report the hospitalWww@Answer-Health@Com

It is quite possible that his symptoms were such that they didn't think he had something as bad as what it turned out to be!. It was bad enough to get him admitted, but not clearly so dangerous!.

All you can do is complain unless your relative has caught the bug, too!. Then you can ask them to not charge for any treatments caused by this man's illness!. If they refuse, I'd go up the ladder, complaining and with documentation all the way!. If there is an ombudsman at the hospital or employed by the chain, I'd start there!.

I'm sorry about the ward being closed!. It must have been terrifying for everyone!.

The man with the sickness and diahorrea did not chose to be ill and as such should not be treated any differently to other patients, within reason!. So long as all other patients are not sharing a bathroom and all patients have their rights and dignity seen to then i don't see a problem with that!.!.!.!.apart from maybe if it was me i might have a problem with using a commode!. Yes the ideal situation would be to give this patient his own room but in real life this isn't always possible!. Also ask yourself if the patient you refer to might also have heart or breathing problemsWww@Answer-Health@Com

Go ballistic!. No it's not acceptable, If that was a member of my family I'd go as far up the ranks as I could to get it sorted & if that didn't work I'd go to my MP & the local press!. In this day & age those shoddy standards should simply not exist!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
