Question: Would it be safe to take 975mg of acetominophen!?
ok i just had neck surgery and was perscribed hydrocodone 5mg/ 325mg acetaminophen!. It says i can take 2 every 6 hours but i really must have some sort of tolerance because i don't feel anything taking 2 pills!. would taking 3 at once be enough to do damage to my liver or any other health concerns!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

The acetominophen isn't the problem!. OTC Tylenol Extended Release is 1200mg every 8hrs!. The problem is hat you don't want to overdose on hydrocodone!. Taking more than the recommeded amount can cause serious breathing problems!. That is the major problem with most opioids!. Definintely call your doctor and ask for something stronger, maybe something with an anti-inflammatory aslos like Percodan!. Also, it does take these medicines a couple of doses to build up in your system to experience pain relief!. Hope this helps!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
I would not advise it I would call the doctor and have him prescribe something else stronger or different!. Do not overtake acetaminophen!. Acetaminophen overdosing is very likely to happen and you don't want to be treated for that believe me it is not fun!. Call your doctors office and usually they have an answering service for after hours and tell them you need something for pain!. He can call the pharmacy and prescribe something over the phone to them for you!. Www@Answer-Health@Com
