It could be from a number of different things!. Anemia can cause this but so can certain vitamin deficiencies such as B12 and B6, but overdosing B vitamins can be harmful to nerves also!. It could be carpal tunnel and there are exercises for it (do a search on web) that will help a lot!.
Sometimes these symptoms can be from a hormonal imbalance such as hypothyroidism which is common after pregnancy and is also associated with carpal tunnel!. Sometimes, it can be from an autoimmune disorder such as lupus, MS, or sjogrens!. If it doesn't go away soon, see a doctor!. It is common after pregnancy to be anemic!.
Do not ignore the numbness if it is carpal tunnel, as it could cause permanent damage to the nerve if it is constantly entrapped!.

im a teen and that sometimes happens to me
