Question: Unable to swallow saliva !.!.but no pain or soreness !?
Last night i had trouble sleeping because every time i went to swallow it felt like i couldn't but i can if i gulp !?

I agree with the above poster!. It could well be your thyroid!. I have had the sensation of a lump in my throat for many years, and have been for many exploritory tests, which showed nothing!.
It's very frightening sometimes, but a new doctor picked up on many more symptoms, and I have hypothyroidism!.

I used to suffer from anxiety attacks when I was younger and that was the most annoying and scary symptom and would sometimes spark of a panic attack as I often felt that I couldn't swallow at all - it often happened at night because there was no other distraction!.
If it just happens at night or at certain times then it is definitely more psychological than physiological!. If it is anxiety, breathing exercises can really help!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

do you know that stress do it ,and maybe your thyroid needs to be checked up ,,because if you already have hypothyroid and having trouble with swallowing ,that means you have something wrong so don't wait

anxiety!.!.!.your stressed , you need need to tell a doctor!. I had a grand mall seizure from stress!. I am now taking medication and feel a lot more calm about situations that I could not handle before!. Stress can ruin you life and your social well being!.
