Question: I riped my foot open, HELP!?
I am 13, and I was in the bathroom!. I was facing the bathtub and stepped back a couple of steps, and behind the tub is the sink, and there are cubbards under it!. (the usual sink type thing) and the cubards are sharp!. I somehow managed to get the heel of my foot wedged in between then and it riped a really deep gash in my heal!. it is a bout 1 1/2 inches long!. I am home alone at the moment and don't know what to do!. we just ran out of bandages last night because i cut my fingers on accident!. (i am kind of accident prone) So now i cleaned the cut but it will not stop bleeding no matter what i do!. And it is so painful i practically can't walk!.
Help me please if you can!. I don't know what to do!. you would think that with all of my accidents i would know what to do!. but i don't!. so please help me!. Much thanks in advance!!! Www@Answer-Health@Com

If no one is home with you call your closest parent and tell them and get them to come take you right away!. It sounds pretty deep and bad so you don't want to go without medical help!.
To ease your mind- pay no attention to Heelfan5!. They don't know what they are talking about!. Mesothelioma is a lung cancer you get from working with asbestos material, not from cuts!. Since asbestos is removed from many buildings and at 13 it is unlikely you've ever worked with it you can't get it!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

1st clean the cut so it does not get infected, then to stop the bleeding you need to apply alot of pressure to it, its gonna hurt but thats ok, just keep holding pressure on it and it will stop bleeding, then you can decide with your parents wether you need to go to the hospital or not when they get home, and stay off the foot for nowWww@Answer-Health@Com
Call your mom or dad at work, or try calling a relative, if you can't get ahold of any close relatives or your parents and its really bad dont feel bad to call 911 and tell them whats happening, if you have no bandages, get a old rag or a white tshirt you dont want and rap it tight around your foot and hold it or get a tie

wash it in the tub with cold water as it will constrict the veins then apply pressure with a towel or a lot of paper towel and just hold it on there as tight as possible for 15 minutes!. and then see if its still bleeding clean it with rubbing alcohol and anti bacterial cream!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Okay, grab some toilet paper or paper towels or even a towel, apply pressure to the cut with this!. If the bleeding does not stop after applying adequate pressure, you need to call someone to come get you and take you to the ER!. Www@Answer-Health@Com
get something,like a towel and rap it on your foot,Make sure it is tight !.That will help stop the bleeding!.It sounds as if you may need a few stitches,can you call mom or Dad or even a neighbor to take you to the Dr to have it looked at!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

The best thing to do is go to the hospital and get stitches!. if you cant do that you can pinch the cut back together and super glue it back together!. It sounds nasty and it hurts a little but it works!. I have done this many times to my self!. good luck!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
put alot of pressure on it!. that should stop the bleeding!. if the gash is really deep then you should go to the emergency room to get stiches!. make sure to put peroxide on it to clean out any of the germs that might have gotten in there!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
You need to call your parents!. If it isn't stopping bleeding, you most likely need stitches!. Call a relative to come over and look at it, most adults can judge whether or not you would need stitches!. Www@Answer-Health@Com
